My idea for Jeff : Build the 8th Wonderland

Today, you requested ideas to spend usefully your money on :
So I will make my part :

My idea is to make real what french directors of 8th Wonderland movie created in 2008 :

A "virtual place" for real democracy.

In practice, you could use you money and AWS technology to create a global hybrid between change.org and wikipedia.
The virtual servers would be splitted by country, using local language, exactly like on Wikipedia.

Real people could then create accounts on the cloud to :

1/ Create and "Request For Comment" (exactly like on the "technical" Internet) a new "law" proposal regarding their country, from "Create "neutral" gender", or "Let people decide to die" to "Change color of green lights to pink".
2/ Make the law proposal evolve gradually, using the same "collective intelligence" used on Wikipedia.
3/ Vote for it using a simple Facebook-like "Thumb Up"/"Thumb Down"/"No comment".

The proposed laws would them be listed by reverse number of votes, on the home page, sorted by topic (social, finance, education...), ignoring "automatically" dumb or provocative ideas, while promoting at the same time most appreciated proposals to the point that "real" politicians could not ignore them anymore.

With this website, one virtual instance by country, several hundreds of "representatives" would not be responsible anymore for making laws for millions of people.
There could even be a (real) law that allows "automatic acceptation" of a "virtual law" when it has been voted by a critical number of persons.

People would the be able to create their own future, really democratically, instead of having to obey orders given by a handful of people that are working, in the best case, to maintain the statu quo, and in the worst, for their own interest and the ones of the persons that made them "elected".
I think that you can gather lot of people in the U.S. to support the project with the recent "election" of Donald TRUMP, starting with Michael MOORE himself...

The global system would require staff all over the world to maintain computer infrastructure and sotfware, creating jobs locally and pushing forward high-bandwidth networks required by the cloud and that could be created for people where they are not available like Mark ZUCKERBERG does it with his Internet.org project.

The project could be ran by of kind of NGO, financed by you and any other donators.

And just in case you would need someone for the project, I am your man ;-)

Philip SION.
